Boards
Dashboards holds boards made of panels: metric tiles, histograms, top-N tables, saved queries and text. A board is private to its author or shared with the team. Boards are server-side, so they are the right place for team-wide starting points; saved views on the Logs page are private to a browser.
The open board
Every deployment has one open board: a shared surface where analysts leave notes for the next shift. It is meant to be written on, not just read.
The kanban widget
A board can hold the alert kanban as a panel, scoped to an organization and a severity range, so a shift can work the queue from the board it is watching.
Captures
Any board can be captured and attached to a report as a frozen image. See Reports.
