Customer portal overview

What the portal is for, what customers see, and why it is a separate application.

Purpose

The customer portal gives the people you protect a view of what you do for them: their security standing, their monthly SLA report, the curated summaries of their cases, and a ticket channel to your SOC. It is built for a customer's IT lead and management.

Pages

PageShows
StandingOpen alerts by severity and age, active cases, fleet coverage, data-source health, a 30-day telemetry trend and month-to-date SLA.
ReportsPublished reports, including the monthly SLA report with attainment per severity and alert volume; export as Markdown or PDF.
CasesThe curated, customer-facing summary of each case.
TicketsThreads with the SOC: questions, reports, requests.

Separate by design

The portal faces your customers, so it runs as its own application on its own hostname, with its own sessions and access limited to the customer-facing data it presents. See Portal security.

Enabling it

Enable the portal per organization in Settings › Organizations, set the logo, note and support contact it should show, then invite customer accounts. See Inviting customers.
